About our journey…

Born and raised in North Carolina, my dream was always to live in Colorado and experience the stunning mountain views I had seen in magazines, books, and on TV. At 23, I finally got to see those breathtaking landscapes in person, and by 26, after a snowboarding trip to Breckenridge, I knew it was time to make the move. I traded the ocean for the Rockies, and I haven't looked back since!

While making many life changes, I also decided to take the leap into full-time RV living. Back in 2015, full-time RV life was still a rare and unconventional choice, but it was a lifestyle I knew well. My family had owned a Coachman towable for over two decades, and I spent many summers enjoying RV living along the southern coast of North Carolina for short periods at a time. Now, the RVing lifestyle is in high demand, along with RV campsites and technicians. We wanted an inside look in the industry. We wanted to see why it was difficult to find reliable technicians with an industry that has been around for many decades and has steadily gained new clients.

Determined to find answers, I became a certified RV technician in 2022. With a background in house remodeling, plenty of hands-on experience from fixing my own RV, and a lot of Social Media University credits, I initially thought the transition would be easy—but I quickly learned just how much more there was to know. After gaining valuable experience working with manufacturers, factories, and other RV professionals, I realized the immense amount of time and money often wasted by missing key information that’s not easily found online. Not to mention the problems found on brand new units straight from the factory.

As a certified technician, I have worked on everything from high-end Class A, B, and C models with the latest tech-filled RV systems to older, semi-maintained (sometimes held together by duct tape) units. I am proud to be certified with top RV manufacturers like Coleman-Mach, Dometic, Norcold, Suburban, and several others, with expertise in RV electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, satellite systems (including Starlink), RVC networks (like Firefly, Spyder, or Silverleaf), and much more. Whether it is water heaters, plumbing, satellites, TV antennas, or complex electrical issues, we’re prepared to tackle any problem.

At Travel Right RV Services, we understand the frustrations of dealing with RV problems. That’s why we offer a mobile mechanic service that comes directly to you. No untrained middlemen—just a certified technician who will not only fix the issue but also walk you through the repair process and ensure everything is working perfectly. Whether you're at a campground or parked for a few days, you can trust that we’ll get you ready to roll to keep your journey on the right path.
